450g strawberries (frozen + thawed works best)
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 Tbs vodka
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 1/2 cups Greek yoghurt (whey strained off a bit)
In a bowl combine strawberries, lemon juice, vodka and sugar. Leave for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Line a sieve with a paper towel, spoon in the yogurt and leave to strain in the fridge for an hour.
Blend the strawberry mix and yogurt. Sieve out the seeds if you are fussy about such things.
Chill in the fridge if needed – definitely if you have a frozen bowl style churner.
Churn in an ice-cream churner, spoon into a container and leave in the freezer to set further.
